Departmental Applied Training Opportunities

Technical knowledge and practical training are given together in textile, apparel and ready-to-wear training.

There is one ready-made clothing workshop and one computer laboratory belonging to the Clothing Production Technology Program.

Ready-to-Wear Workshop

Technological Infrastructure: There are 2 cutting and pastal tables, 15 straight sewing machines, 2 automatic sewing machines, 2 overlock, 2 jams, 1 buttonhole machine, 1 double-glazed iron, 1 single-glazed iron.
Sewing techniques, product shaping, print design, textile design, draping training are provided.

 

Computer Lab

Technological Infrastructure: Assyst, Inventex and DesignCad Pattern Design, Grading and Marker Drawing programs are available, licensed within the laboratory.
Computerized mold design training is given in our laboratory which has a capacity of 20 users.
